The Journey
This project was the catalyst of my interested into glass while in university. the final product aim was a hand bound/made book that looked into the topics of glass painting. for the content information and process, i underwent 2 7-week corses - one in glass painting and the other in leading and window construction.
A Love Letter To Design
My main discipline and focus is graphic communication, however I am intrigued by the forms in which we experience this visual design. The 21st century is absorbed by digital technology and while this makes the design process cess ever-developing, it has pushed aside the technology and practices of the past. This project looks at how historical artistic practices like stained glass construction are still as important to visually communicating design information to us today as it did 500 years ago.
The theme for this topic was sudden and allowed me to re-fall in love again with design.
